Making An Ice Cream Sundae Bar

Making a homemade ice cream sundae bar can actually produce a very delicious dish for dessert or may even rack in a lot of profits through sales. The best part of all is that making one of these bars is quite easy and would only require a few steps. So if one would want to make one of these things, then here are the steps how.

Now the first thing that one will be doing would be to get some real ice cream of any flavor. After that, one will then transfer the snack into a bowl. After transferring it into a bowl, then one has to now blend it using a mixer and just blend it until it becomes rather soft and spongy.

After that, he should now take out some paper cups wherein he should fill them all up with the soft cream. Once the cups are already full, get some plastic wrap, cover the entire cup with it, then wrap a rubber band around it so that it it would stay in place. When that is done, get a popsicle stick and poke it through the wrapping and into the cup.

Now it is very important to make sure that the popsicle is stuck at least one inch inside of the cup so that the popsicle will keep the dessert steady. Afterwards, put the cups into the freezer and let it freeze for around twenty four hours. The next day, one can already take it out and serve it to those dessert lovers.

Now although this step is optional, it may also be done as it will make the dessert taste even better. If one would want, he may add some chocolate coating in order to just add some extra flavor. In order to do this, one has to melt some chocolate until it becomes extremely stick and then put the sticky chocolate paste onto a small cookie sheet.

After the melted chocolate has been placed in the cookie sheet, then the next step would be to take one cup from the freezer. One has to make sure that bar is already completely frozen before taking out all the plastic and the cup. Take the cookie sheet and wrap it around the bar until it is completely wrapped around already.

After that, place the entire thing into the freezer again and let is stay there for around twenty minutes. After twenty minutes, one may take it out and check that if it is already frozen enough. If it still quite soft, then one should leave it there for another ten minutes until it is completely frozen.

So as one can see, it is actually very easy to make an ice cream sundae bar at home. In fact, if one is creative, he can actually experiment with different types of flavors and toppings so that his dessert will be more delicious. If he can create creative flavors, then he may actually sell his creation to his neighbors or to his friends.
