A Few Recommended Marco Island Restaurants

By Marissa Velazquez

No doubt you are reading this article right now because you want to know where the best place to eat is. Whether it be for yourself or your companions, family or friends, there are plenty of Marco Island restaurants out there to satisfy your stomach and hunger. This short article covers some recommendations that you may take into consideration when going out on your search for the best place to eat o your visit.

Verdis, an American bistro as it is fondly called by its owner, is an upscale restaurant open nightly at 6 pm everyday. Strangely enough they are closed Mondays from June to August. All orders are cooked to order and discounts given to groups of eight or more. They also have gluten free menus for the diet conscious or those that are watching what they eat.

CJs on the Bay is another good place to eat being right next to the marina harbor itself in a great big gazebo type building that has access to a nearby floating dock. Menus also include many seafood offerings as well as one specially designed for kids. If you want a place to experience Smokehouse Bay while having a great dining experience, this place is worth the trip.

Sunset Grille is a good place for families and family oriented fun. Their dining options include breakfast and brunch, lunch and dinner and late night dining. They have great outdoor seating and one on a budget can enjoy this place as many say that this place does not seem overpriced as others on Marco. Young people will also enjoy its sports bar theme and inspired decor.

For those who love pizza and anything pasta related should go to DaVinci. Some say that the pizza here is even better than the ones in New York. Others say their chicken dishes are something to die for. Either way, it is for you to decide by giving this place a quick visit. Also do give their non pasta dishes a try which might appeal to your palate.

Stonewalls restaurant will appeal to those who crave and love Mexican food and foods south of the border. Their unique system of paying first and then getting seating for service might be confusing for the first timer, but at least you have been warned. Some say that their dishes are a bit pricey, but there is no denying that they come in more than respectable sizes and portions. Do give this place a try to calm down your Mexican cravings.

Hoots is another must try place in the area. This place only serves breakfast in the form of pancakes, eggs and simple steaks. Do come in early as the place can get crowded early on in the morning, as it has become more popular over time by word of mouth and recommendations by patrons.

This article just showcases a few of the many restaurants that you may come across when you are looking for Marco Island restaurants. The place of course has plenty more to offer but hopefully these few selections give you a basic idea on where to get started on your quest to find a great meal when visiting this town in Florida. So go on out there and see what Marco Island has to offer!
