The opportunity to create different flavors and recipe of fresh juice by mixing and matching various vegetables and fruits is just one of the many advantages that one can get in juicing. Aside from that, there are also many health benefits that one can get in making it a habit of consuming freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. Compared to drinking canned juice and soda, there are a lot more advantages that you can get in practicing to drink fruit and vegetable juice.

Before moving forward in knowing different great juice recipes, it is significant that one should know the difference between a juicer and a blender especially that there are a lot of people that makes use of a blender for juicing instead of the juicer. Blenders are used to by putting the edible parts of vegetables and fruits to create a slurry-like consistency and the thickness is dependent on the water content and the amount of fruit and vegetables you mix in. A juicer, on the other hand, is primarily used to squeeze liquid out of fruits and vegetables while separating the solid parts like the pulp, skin, rind, stem and other fibrous parts. When using a juicer, the end product is expected to be a thin liquid that is easy to drink which is otherwise known as juice.

Before you decide on what kinds of fruits and vegetables to include in your juice recipe, you should first know what health benefit you are targeting to get from the juice that you are making in order for you to decide properly on what ingredients you will include in your own juice recipe. You should be aware that different kinds of fruits and vegetables can offer different kinds of health benefits. Aside from that, different fruits and vegetables also has varying water contents that is there may be fruits and vegetables that produce lots of juice while there are some that can only produce a little. The following is a list of important information that can aid you in making great juice recipes:

- Not all fruits and vegetables are the same. There are those fruits and vegetables that contains higher nutritional and health value compared to others and being able to know this information will help you to decide what fruits and vegetables you must include in your juice recipe.

- Fruits and vegetables have different various colors and this can be indicative of the nutrients that they possess. Mixing fruits and vegetables that are of varying colors is advisable to ensure that a variety of nutrients is also included in your juice recipe.

-In order for you to be able to juice easily, chopping and slicing your fruits and vegetables before putting them in your juicer is recommended.

-To prevent damage of your juicer, large pits and seeds should be removed.
