Make The Right Choice And Order Vegan Food Online

By Jaclyn Hurley

People who eat vegan food know that there are many reasons to go into the lifestyle. There are also too many reasons not to. Based on interviews with a number of vegetarians, much information has been gathered about what those reasons are. The decision must be seen on one hand with an understanding of their arrangement, on the other hand with a certain detachment, in order to remain completely neutral in your decision. You may also find the reasons that vegetarians are not vegans, although they endorse many of the basic ideas, to be compelling as well.

One of the main reasons people make this choice is to try and ensure that fewer and fewer animals are abused by humans. Changes in society come about when people discuss and demonstrate their beliefs. Making this particular choice means eating just vegetable products, no meat, milk, yogurt, eggs and honey. Even with their clothes, they do their best to avoid animal products: no wool and so on.

The decision may sound rather hard and burdening, but it's not actually that major of a challenge. It does take some adaptation, but you shall soon discover various (surprisingly delicious) alternatives. So why do folks make that choice? There are a lot of reasons, sometimes they are unrelated to what you might expect. For instance, often this is done for religious motivations or even health reasons.

Of course, there is no need for an objection to people who make the choice for these reasons, as long as they decide to oppose the exploitation of animals. However, some people's reasons are more social and political. For them it is more of an anti- capitalism movement.

Virtually every animal product that people consume in the Western world is derived from one or other type of farming. The animals are raised, they are slaughtered and then "processed" at a shocking rate. Purely for profits, little calves get locked in boxes for some 22 weeks to get ready for being slaughtered, and the free roaming fish in the seas are trapped with death walls. There are networks of fishing ships that stretch for miles and between them, anything more than several inches in size is doomed to certain death.

Mink are furry little animals that are bred in cramped cages in their thousands for fur production, and bunnies have to sit tightly chained together, patiently waiting for cosmetics giants to send their people out to burn their retinas out. Chickens, on the other hand, will have their beaks ripped off when still alive inside big sheds, and this happened by the millions, then they are sucked up by what is basically an immense vacuum cleaner.

There are cows that are specially bred, also using biotechnology, in order to extract an increasing amount of milk from each of them. With every gallon of milk, a puddle of blood is created, the cow must give birth every year, in order to keep milk "production" up. This eventually leads to a surplus of manure and acidification.

Some people accept trapping and killing people and animals. In itself, one can imagine that killing or trapping of animals or humans in certain extreme situations can be justified. In general, however, these situations do not happen very often without the involvement of greed. This is just one of the many reasons why this lifestyle choice is good.
